According to the Federal Government, "Wilderness" is defined as an area where humans are just visitors; the land isn't maintained, and motorized vehicles aren't allowed. Most campsites do not qualify as wilderness by this standard. The wilds of the Texas Middle Gulf Coast certainly would and we'll enjoy them and leave no trace (LNT) when we depart! Join us as we immerse you, your family and friends; loved ones; team members; employees; and clients in the wilds we grew up in. We have a long history of going off the grid in the wilds of the coast with parents, loved ones, and friends. It's a deeply meaningful part of life on the coast and nobody does it better than Texas Kayak Safari.
We have a massive infrastructure of guides, equipment, local knowledge, and resources that makes this much easier for folks looking to disconnect from the demands of modern life for a brief interlude with nature, solitude, and the great outdoors here on the coast. Come enjoy the experience with the best indigenous guides, watermen, and skilled resourceful bush life outdoorsmen on the coast.
Some locations we refer to as "Pack Trips", taking necessities by kayak and forging off to open wilderness sites, base camps, and strategic sites offering particular accessibility to a variety of activities including kayaking and fishing, crabbing, night fishing, sight fishing and more. All "pack trips" are also easily serviced by a wide range of touring and guided fishing expeditions.
Camp sites will vary from open to semi-closed and closed venues depending on seasonality, weather, and the immersion characteristics chosen by the group.
Enhance your safari with optional activities to help round out your experience with us.
